Trinidad C. Ortiz, 74, of Andrews passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 in Lubbock, Texas.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate his life at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 11, 2021 at La Nueva Jerusalem Church with Pastor Isai Garcia officiating. Visitation was from 12:00 PM -9:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation is under the personal direction of McNett Funeral Home. Trinidad was born on June 16, 1946 to Francisco A. Ortiz and Maria Del Carmen Carrillo in McAllen, Texas. He married Andrea Jaramillo on January 16, 1970 in McAllen, Texas. Trinidad loved his family, especially his wife! He enjoyed watching a good Novela and WWE on TV. Some of his favorite things were Chinese food, his lottery tickets and chicken wings. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Francisco Ortiz and sisters, Guadalupe Manzanares and Gracie (Chela) Ortiz.

Trinidad is survived by his wife of 51 years, Andrea Ortiz of Andrews, children, Trini Ortiz Jr. and wife Maria, Veronica Ortiz and husband Kendy Perez, Coral Rhodes and husband Daniel, Carmina Ortiz and Juan Daniel Ortiz and wife Maria all of Andrews, Texas, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
