Rachel Rebekah Roubison, 93, of Andrews passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Andrews, Texas with Rev. Leslie Gross officiating. There will be a private family burial. Viewing will be on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM at McNett Funeral Home.

Rachel was born on October 31, 1929 in Drumright, Oklahoma to Harvey James Birge and Jessie Elizabeth Matthews Birge. She married Harold Roubison on August 23, 1947 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. They were married for 63 years until his death in 2010. Rachel and Harold moved to Andrews in 1953. She was an RN at Permian Regional Medical Center for 30 years and was a volunteer as a Pink Lady at the hospital for many years. Rachel enjoyed baking, volunteering and participating in outreach programs. Rachel and Harold traveled to Venezuela, Guatemala, Ireland, Fiji and Spain on Mission Trips to help build churches and also traveled to many places with the Billy Sims Trailer Club. Rachel adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and they brought her great joy! She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Andrews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Harold Roubison, parents, James Harvey Birge and Jessie Elizabeth Birge, a dozen brothers and sisters and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Rachel is survived by her sons, James Roubison and wife Kim of Andrews, Texas and Marvin Roubison and wife Forrest Ann of Eldorado, Texas, grandchildren, Caleb Roubison, Rachel Albanese and husband Joshua Albanese, Hanna Nicholson and husband Brandon Nicholson, Skeeter Roubison and Bobby Ann Roubison and 11 greatgrandchildren.
