Natalio L. Martinez, age 80, of Andrews Texas, passed from this life Saturday, June 17, 2023, in Andrews, Texas.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate his life at 10:00AM, Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Joseph Ogbonna Officiating. Burial followed at the Andrews County North Cemetery. Viewing was held Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from 1:00PM7:00PM at The McNett Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary was held at 7PM Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at the McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home.

Natalio was born July 2, 1942, in Villa union Coahuila, Mexico, to Gilberto Martinez and Maria De Jesus Lopez. He married Lucila Martinez on August 29, 1969, in Mexico, and they spent 37 amazing years together until her passing in October of 2006. Natalio was a hardworking family man. He had a good sense of humor and a personality to match. He loved to joke around and call himself “Natalio Martinez De Tejas”. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. Natalio’s greatest love was his family. He loved to spend time cooking out and dancing with his grandkids. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and a dear friend. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.

He is survived by his son: Cesar Martinez and wife Sarah of Andrews, TX; daughters: Mirsa Trevino and husband Juan of Andrews, TX; and Mia Martinez of Andrews, TX; brother: Gilberto Martinez and wife Patricia of Andrews, TX; sister: Mage Martinez and husband Rafael of Del Rio, TX; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Lucila Martinez; parents: Gilberto Martinez and Maria De Jesus; 4 sons: Juan de Dios Martinez; Morgan G. Martinez; Felix Martinez; and Gilbert Martinez; daughter: Ema N. Martinez; and 4 sisters.
