Nat Bermea, 74, of Andrews passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 in Andrews.

Nat was born on July 3, 1944 in Charlotte, Texas to Isidoro Martinez Bermea, Sr. and Lus Lucy Coronado Bermea. He was raised in Brownfield and Andrews and has lived in Andrews all his life. He married Debora Ann Trevino on March 1, 1989 in Andrews. He was a pulling unit operator and had worked for Pool Well Service, S & N Well Service, and retired from Basic Energy in 2016. He was always working and providing for his family and loved spending time with his family. He loved to cook on Sunday, where he would cook chicken or menudo. He enjoyed collecting coins, Trans Am’s, yard work, cleaning the pool, and spending time on his back porch or the garage with his family, especially his grandson, Zayden. He loved to watch old cowboy shows, Two and a Half Men, and Married with Children. He was a wonderful husband, dad, but was strict and respected in his household by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Henry and Felix Bermea, and grandson, Rene Roman, Jr.

Nat is survived by his wife, Debora A. Bermea of Andrews, 8 children, Lacey Bermea Saenz and husband, Tony, of Andrews, Frances Roman and husband, Rene Sr., of Andrews, Qiana Zamora and husband, Andrew, of Andrews, Lisa Martinez and husband, Pedro, of Andrews, Debbie Morin and husband, David, of Andrews, Norma Bermea of Odessa, Elaine Cardenas and husband, Mario, of San Angelo, and Nat Bermea, Jr. of San Angelo; 4 siblings, Lupe Abney of Andrews, Gloria Alvarado of Seminole, Janie Rodriquez of Odessa, and Isidoro Bermea, Jr. and wife, Goya, of Andrews; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and two Doberman Pinscher’s that he considered like his children, Maggie and Miah.

Nat was a supporter of St. Children’s Research Hospital, so all memorials may be sent to www.stjude.org.
