Michelle Marie de Leon, 39, of Andrews passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 in Andrews.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 12:00 PM Thursday, October 1, 2020 at La Nueva Jerusalem Church with Pastor Isai Garcia officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. Visitation for friends will be Tuesday from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the funeral home and Wednesday from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at La Nueva Jerusalem Church. Michelle was born on February 9, 1981 in Levelland, Texas to Teresa Uvalle and Ezekial Gutierrez. She graduated from Andrews High School in 1998. Michelle married Ramiro de Leon on February 17, 2001 in Andrews. She loved to sing, dance and travel any chance she got. Michelle was a light in every life she touched. If she could help someone she’d go the extra mile. She was definitely a pillar in her family’s life. She has four kids of her own but was a mom to anyone that needed it and wanted it. She had a heart of gold and was loved by so many. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Ray de Leon and grandparents, Edwardo Tienda and Natividad Medina.
Michelle is survived by her husband Ramiro of Andrews, Texas, son, Ramiro de Leon, Jr. of Andrews, Texas, daughters, Desiree de Leon and husband Fabian Hernandez and Mariah de Leon both of Andrews, Texas, parents, Ezekiel and Teresa Uvalle of Andrews, Texas, sisters, Stephanie Gutierrez and husband Victor Peralta, Krisel Gutierrez and Anayelli Gutierrez all of Andrews, Texas and one grandson, Fabian Lee Hernandez, Jr.
