Michael Caleb Garcia

Michael Caleb Garcia, 27, of Andrews, Texas passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, in Andrews.

Family and friends will gather for a Graveside service 2:00 PM Thursday, August 26, 2021, in the Andrews North Cemetery with Pastor Leslie L. Boone officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 PM Wednesday at McNett Funeral Home.

Michael was born February 10, 1994, in Andrews, Texas to Migel Garcia and Valerie Saldivar. Michael had a love for working on cars and being outside, whether it be using his green thumb or having BBQs for his family, just to have a reason to get everyone together. He loved world history and would joke that he,” was the smartest kid in history.” He was a jack of all trades and could fix and do anything. Michael had one of the kindest hearts and stood up for anyone in trouble. He was always willing to help anyone in need and never asked for anything in return. Most of all, Michael was an amazing father to his children, they loved to bake together, and Melody and John-David loved when their daddy would read them stories. Michael always strived to be better than he was the day before, and never failed to tell us, “I love you.”

Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents Joel and Esperanza Saldivar, Paternal grandfather Cerillo Garcia, Uncles David Saldivar and Mike Saldivar.

Michael is survived by his mother Valerie Saldivar of Andrews, sister Courtney Garcia. Children Melody Garcia, and John-David Garcia of Andrews, his nephews, Ruben and Jackson, and niece Mia Staley.

Honorary Pallbearers are Ruben Staley and Jackson Staley.
