Louisa Nolan, 90, of Andrews passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 in Odessa.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1005 NW 2nd Street, in Andrews with Pastor Robert Pase officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 AM – 9 PM on Wednesday and 9 AM – 12 PM Thursday at McNett Funeral Home in Andrews. Louisa was born on May 4, 1928 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Lewis M. Fick and Elsa Kluke Fick. She was raised in Cushing and graduated from Cushing High School in 1946. She married Edward William “E.W. Dub” Nolan, Jr. on June 3, 1947 in Cushing. They lived in Odessa for many years and were faithful and devoted members to Redeemer Lutheran Church. They owned and operated Packer Sales and Rental, Nolan’s Packer, and Red Arrow Tools. They moved to Andrews in 1981, where they were faithful members of Faith Lutheran Church. Louisa enjoyed reading, needle point, going to Las Vegas with her husband, and traveling with her husband in their motorhome to 49 states. She loved watching and listening to football, especially the Andrews Mustangs and Texas Tech Red Raiders. She prayed that she would make it through football season this year! She had a wonderful sense of humor, and she enjoyed cooking for her family and having family gatherings. She was a homemaker and a wonderful wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 1, 2015, her parents, and 3 brothers, H.A. Fick, Edwin Fick, and Henry Fick.

Louisa is survived by her daughter, Kathie Tillotson of Andrews, son, Joel Nolan and wife, Deborah, of Phoenix, Arizona, sister, Emma Macuila of Lubbock, brother, Melvin Fick of Andrews, and 2 grandchildren, Amanda and Emily Nolan of Phoenix, Arizona.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Faith Lutheran Church, Permian Residential Care Center, or to your favorite charity of choice.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews for their great support and care for Louisa and our family.
