José María Treviño

José Maria Trevino, 79, of Andrews, Texas passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, in Odessa, Texas at Medical Center Hospital.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate his life at 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Ogbonna officiating. Interment- followed in the Andrews West- Cemetery. Viewing was held on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM at. McNet-t Funeral Home. A Rosary was held Monday, February 27, 2023, at- 7:00 PM at McNet-t- Funeral Home.

José was born on December 4, 1943, in San Diego, Texas t-o Timot-eo Vera Trevino and Dora Cuellar Trevino. He married Diana Lopez Trevino on June 16, 1961, in Andrews, Texas. They spent- 60 years together until her passing in July 2021.

José was a Roustabout in the oil field for many years. He was a hard worker and always provided for his family. He was a strong and very knowledgeable Jack-ofall- Trades. José loved to cook for his family. Playing pool, going camping, and fishing were also a favorite of his. He was a big Dallas Cowboy football fan. In his younger years, José entertained his family and friends by playing his guitar and accordion. He also enjoyed sitting in his backyard with a warm fire while listening to music. Jose and Diana enjoyed going on many trips together. Going t-o Mexico was a favorite of theirs. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Timot-eo and Dora Trevino, wife, Diana Lopez Trevino, siblings, Tim Trevino, Jr., Rene Trevino, Emet.erio Trevino, Rosa Torres, Luis Trevino, Ruben Trevino, Oscar and Rebecca Also preceded, Rae Trevino, Patrick Lee Trevino, and Jesse Dustin Trevino, grandsons.

He is survived by his children, Darleen M. Trevino of Andrews, Texas, Debora A. Bermea and husband Herman H. Rodriguez of Andrews, Texas, Jose A. Trevino of Andrews, Texas, Joel L. Trevino of Andrews. Texas, Lorenzo A. Trevino and wife Wendy S. McCane of Deer Park, Texas and Jeannette S. Gutierrez and husband Edmundo Gutierrez, siblings, Carlos Trevino, Eddie Trevino and Jorje Trevino, 20 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great. grandchildren.
