Doyle Wayne Emfinger, 60, of Andrews, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, in Andrews, Texas.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 2pm, with graveside services at Andrews Old Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm, at the home Nancy Helvey. Cremation will follow under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home.

Doyle was born on April 1, 1961, in Andrews, Texas to Leslie and Mary Francis Emfinger. He worked for JGL Solutions as a treater in Andrews. Doyle was a farmer from a young age and continued to farm his whole life. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races on Sunday, and if he wasn’t watching NASCAR he was enjoying a game of Rangers baseball. Doyle also enjoyed Turner classic movies. He also enjoyed wood-working in his shop and completing projects with his family. He loved music and collecting records, which was often blaring throughout his house. Doyle had a talent for playing the drums that started as a freshman when he joined the Mighty Mustang Band. His love for the game of golf also began in high school and he continued to enjoy the game his whole life. He had a passion for the game of chess and loved to play chess with his grandchildren.

His family and friends will miss him dearly.

He is survived by, 2 children, son Hunter Emfinger and wife Angela of Andrews, Texas, and daughter, Sumer Hill and husband Scott of Andrews, Texas. His sister, Carrie Loving and husband Gary of Odessa, Texas. Six grandchildren, Rori, Drake, Ashton, Brilee, Sofia, and Kohen of Andrews, Texas.

Doyle is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Mary Francis Emfinger.
