Debbie Parrent, 61, of Andrews passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 in Andrews.

Family directed memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Second Baptist Church, 107 NW 7th Street, in Andrews with Pastor Kevin Covington officiating. A family meal will follow the memorial services at the church. Cremation is under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home. Please celebrate her life by visiting www.mcnettfuneralhome.com.

Debbie was born on August 30, 1957 in Artesia, New Mexico to Don Payne and Margie Francis Bratcher Payne. She was raised in Artesia and graduated from Artesia High School in 1975. She attended Midland College and then moved to Morton in 1978. She worked for the public schools in Levelland and the surrounding communities for 11 years as a bus driver and teacher’s aide for special need students. She married Matthew Dave Parrent on June 24, 1989 in Pleasant Grove, Texas, and they moved to Andrews in 1995. She worked for Clearfork Elementary in Andrews as a bus driver and teacher’s aide and retired in 2012. Her heart was to serve the special need students and help them thrive in their environment, and she enjoyed working with all the teachers and therapists along the way. She was known to be a planner, especially for her family, and very independent. She was patient and knew how to take a joke. She enjoyed her cats, going to the lake, sewing, playing the slots at the casino, and cooking, especially her enchiladas. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Matthew Par-rent of Andrews, daughter, Amanda Cline and husband, Scotty, of Andrews, Cody Parrent of Andrews, brother, Richard Payne of Artesia, NM and Jack Payne of Texas, 2 grandchildren, Daniel and Zowee Cline, and her best friend, Sera Rodriguez.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Frances Patrice Payne. Memorials may be sent to Clearfork Elementary School, %Special Education Program, 300 NE Avenue K, Andrews, Texas 79714.
