C. A. Prichard, 87 of Andrews, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020 in Andrews, Texas

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 2 PM Thursday, October 22, 2020 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Minister Leslie L. Boone of Andrews Church of Christ, officiating. interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. C. A. Prichard was born on January 17, 1933 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Charles Acie and Faye Ollie Prichard. After graduation from Blytheville High in 1951, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He was stationed at Bethesda Naval Air Station in Maryland. Commuting to church in Washington, D.C. allowed him to meet and eventually marry Billie Jane Robinson, also of Arkansas. After his Naval enlistment was up, he then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He was stationed at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, Alaska. Their son Michael was born in 1956. After his discharge from the USAF, C. A. and family moved to Grand Prairie, Texas. It was there that their daughter was born in1967. While in Grand Prairie, C. A. worked as a letter carrier for the USPS and as an electronic technician with the City of Dallas. In 1975, C. A. went to work for Phillips Petroleum. First as an electronic technician in Bartlesville, Ok and then in the Instruments and Measurements group. He was ultimately assigned to the Fullerton Plant in Andrews, Texas. C. A. spent an additional 12 years as a member of the U.S. Naval Reserve (ret) and retired from Phillips Petroleum in 1995. C. A. lived in Andrews from 1981 until his passing while in the Permian Residential Care Center on October 17, 2020. C. A. loved his God, his family, and his church family. He loved spending time with his family and in particular his grandsons. He attended ball games and graduations as time and physical abilities allowed. He was preceded in death by his father and mother.

He is survived by his wife oh 65 years, Billie of Andrews, his son, and daughter, both of Midland, his son-in-law Terry Justice of Midland and grandsons Riley and Ramsey both of Midland.
