Ann Louise Feix James, age 87, of Andrews, TX

passed away peacefully on December 28, 2022.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life at 10:00 a.m. on December 31, 2022, at McNett Funeral Home with Andrew Rogers officiating. Interment followed in the Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. Viewing was on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and prior to the service. Ann was born on May 2, 1935, in Henderson, KY to Clarence and Ruth Feix. She was a graduate of Henderson High School and attended Western University in Kentucky. She married Robert (Bob) LeRoy James on June 10, 1955, in Ayer, Massachusetts before he was deployed to Germany. Ann was a devoted, loving wife and mother. Before moving to Andrews in 1971 when Bob was transferred with EXXON, they previously lived in Germany, Henderson, KY, Hopkinsville, KY, Tucson, AZ, Carmi, IL, and St. Elmo, IL. Ann was a member of Means Methodist Church and enjoyed genealogy, reading, volunteering at the Andrews County Library where she was a member of the Friends of the Library Board for many years, as well as traveling to wonderful places such as Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, France, Scotland, Ireland, Greece, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, and many places across the United States. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Ann had a cheerful personality and an infectious laugh, which included a unique sense of humor that entertained and amused her family and friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bob. She is survived by her children, Stephen James and wife, Tena, of Hillsboro, TX, and Terri James of Andrews, TX; 3 grandchildren, Clynt James of Tulsa OK, Christen Rogers and husband, Andrew of Grandview, TX, and Courtney Mears of Itasca, TX; and 7 greatgrandchildren, Brayden, Dawson, and Easton Mears of Itasca, TX; Autumn and PJ Rogers of Grandview, TX, Shayna Russo of Denton, TX, and Athena James of Tulsa, OK.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the medical staff at Permian Regional Hospital, Permian Residential Care Center, and PRMC Home Health for the love and care she received.
