Amber Leann Jackson, a beacon of love and joy, passed away on May 29, 2024, at the age of 32 in Dallas, TX. She was born on August 1, 1991, in Andrews, TX, to her loving parents, Jeff and Heather Burt. Amber’s life was a testament to the strength of familial bonds and the depth of maternal love.

On August 14, 2010, Amber married the love of her life, Charles “Charlie” Jackson, in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by family and friends. Their union was blessed with two wonderful children, Matthew and KayAnne Jackson, who were the center of Amber’s world. As a devoted stay-athome mom, she cherished every moment spent nurturing and guiding her children, instilling in them the same values of kindness and compassion that she embodied.

Amber was the beloved sister of Michael and Kyle Burt, and she held a special place in the hearts of her numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her cherished grandparents, JD and Bobby Burt, and her grandfather, Michael Donaldson.

Throughout her life, Amber was admired for her unwavering courage, especially during her brave fight with her illness. Despite the challenges she faced, her love for her children remained fierce and unyielding, inspiring all who knew her. Amber’s infectious laughter and open heart made her a friend to many; she never met a stranger and had the rare ability to make everyone feel like family.

An enthusiast of life’s simple pleasures, Amber was a lover of seafood, often delighting in the tastes of the ocean with her family on sunny afternoons. She found joy in shared meals, laughter, and the company of those she loved. Her spirit was characterized by a profound lovingness that touched the lives of everyone she encountered.

Amber’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and the gentle strength that she demonstrated every day. Her memory will continue to be a guiding light for her husband, children, parents, brothers, and all those who were blessed to know her. Amber Leann Jackson’s life was a beautiful portrait of love lived fully, and she will be deeply missed by all.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life at 2:00PM, Monday, June 3, 2024 at Grace Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Chapman and Pastor James Beard officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Andrews County North Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5:00PM8:00PM, Sunday, June 2, 2024, at McNett Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home.
