The golfing combo of Brooke Varner and Coy Ellison came out of the blocks on fire with an eyepopping 16-under par 54 Saturday to jump in front of the pack in the 2020 West Texas Shriners and win the championship flight. Second place in the top flight went to the team of Brett Holly and Dylan Dockery and third place belonged to Benny Granger and David Carruth. The big winner in the first flight was the team of Daniel Vasquez and Ronnie Martinez, followed in second by Luke Smith and Lynn Fisher plus Brandon Collins and Timmy Fuentes settled for third.
