During Wednesday afternoon’s FacebookLive announcement concerning the county’s first virus death, Andrews City Manager Steve Eggleston mentioned COVID-19 will hit close to home with increased cases if a recent surge continues.
That was the case recently at city hall, he added, when two employees became concerned about possibly having the virus.
“Several even at city hall are going in for testing or waiting for that,” the city manager explained during the Wednesday announcement.
Eggleston said Thursday there was good news for the city employees with concerns.
