Yevonne Shepker, 67, of Andrews passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 in Andrews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Cross Bar Cowboy Church, 185 SE 1000, in Andrews with Pastor Paul Fair officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 – 5 PM on Sunday at McNett Funeral Home. Yevonne was born on January 14, 1952 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Billy Ray Badgett and Veda Rae Lewis. She was raised and attended schools in Andrews. She married James Daniel Shepker on October 22, 1983 in Hoxie, Kansas. They had lived in Garden City and Oakley, Kansas and moved to Andrews in 1990. She had worked as a waitress for over 20 years in Andrews at the Lone Star Diner and Kel’s Diner. She collected Betty Boop memorabilia, wind chimes, and solar lights. She had been very active in youth bowling league in Andrews and Odessa, and this year was the first time she had missed the tournament in 25 years. She was a past member of Second Baptist Church in Andrews and current member of Cross Bar Cowboy Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, James Shepker of Andrews, 4 children, Tommy Shepker of Andrews, Jacquline Fowler of Odessa, Jesselyn Shepker of Andrews, and Robert Blane Shepker and wife, Mandy, of Andrews, 4 sisters, Shirlena McAfee of Odessa, Deborah Wyatt and husband, Eddie, of La Grange, and Bonnita Badgett and Karen Badgett of Key West, Florida, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
