Vicky Lynn Johnson, 68, of Andrews TX passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, March 10, 2022, in Andrews, Texas.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate Vicky’s life at 2:00 PM Monday, March 14, 2022, at River of Life Church in Andrews, Texas with Stan Brown Officiating. Burial followed at the Andrews West Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Noah Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Nathan Lee, Enrique Gonzales, Gilbert Gonzales, and Ayden Pacheco. Honorary Pallbearers will include Timothy Barbee and Cameron Mitchell. Visitation was held Sunday, March 13, 2022, from 5PM - 8PM. At McNett Funeral Home.

Vicky was born January 02, 1954, in San Diego, California, to Bobby Junior Smith and Eva Jane Smith “Nash”. She married James Johnson on December 3, 1971, in Muleshoe, Texas and they spent 50 wonderful years together. Vicky was a talented woman she loved to sew, crochet, garden, and can her own food. She loved the lord and was very involved with her church. She loved to teach the little children in their Sunday school class. Vicky was a selfless woman who would open her home to anyone at any time. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed teaching them how to crochet. She was a faithful wife, loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Vicky will be dearly missed.

Vicky is survived by her husband: James Johnson of Andrews, TX.; sons: Jeremy Johnson and wife Lisa of Andrews, TX.; and Jason Johnson and wife Toni of Burleson, TX.; daughters: Jennifer Barbee and husband Eric of Andrews, TX.; and Jailey Mitchell and husband Keaton of Andrews, TX.; daughter-in-law: Rhonda Johnson of Andrews, TX.; brother: Bobby Smith and wife Janet of Karnes City, TX.; sisters: Phillis McCormick of Forsyth, MO.; and Tammie Johnson and husband Robert of Farewell, TX.; 14 grandchildren: Brandon, Alesha, Cheyenne, Nathan, Destanie, Bethanie, Dorothy Shae, Molly, Annie, Timothy, Emily, Noah, Cadence, Cameron, and Jaiden; 5 great grandchildren: Hope, Faith, Ilyna, Kameron, and Ethan; and a special puppy: Chewy

Vicky is preceded in death by her parents: Bobby and Eva Smith; son: Randy Hanks; brother: Joe Smith and granddaughter: Makaylah Lee.
