Venustiano Lujan, 90, of Andrews passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020 in Andrews.

Venustiano was born on December 30, 1929 in El Mulato, Mexico to Victoriana Quintana and Julio Lujan Saenz. He married Celia Villanueva on December 22, 1961 and they had 2 children, Liliana and Carlos. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Education was very important to him. He was a teacher and Principal for many years in Ojinaga, Mexico. He especially loved reading and math. Venustiano was a very good cook and enjoyed cooking at family gatherings. His family meant everything to him and he will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters, 4 brothers and a granddaughter, Alexandra Valenzuela.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Celia Lujan of Andrews, daughter, Liliana Valenzuela and husband Alfonzo of Andrews, son, Carlos A. Lujan and wife Vicky of Houston, Texas, sisters, Alicia Lujan of Presidio, Texas and Dominga Garcia and husband Abel of El Paso, Texas. Brother, Andres Lujan of Ojinaga, Mexico and 7 grandchildren.
