Thomas Clark “Red” Davis, Sr., 83 of Andrews passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019 in Andrews.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate his life Thursday at the First Assembly of God Church in Andrews with Pastor Josh Morris officiating.

Interment followed in the Andrews Old Cemetery.

Thomas Clark “Red” Davis was born on July 28, 1935 in Andrews, Texas to Jessie Leo and Mary Snipes Davis.

He attended and graduated from Andrews High School in 1953. He married Billie Hogeland on June 23, 1956 in Lovington, New Mexico. He founded Cobra Packers in Andrews 37 years ago. He loved fishing, hunting and playing golf. He also enjoyed his family and grandchildren. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Andrews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Thomas Allen Davis, sisters, Isla Davis and Kathryn Graham, brothers, Leo, LeRoy, Zane, Floyd, Charlie and Mike Davis.

Red is survived by his wife, Billie Davis, Andrews, son, Tommy C. Davis, Jr. and wife Julie of Andrews, daughters, Cindy Black and husband Mike of Midland, Texas, Kim Hearon and husband Russ of Andrews, five grandchildren, Brandon Black of Midland, Natasha Riley of Andrews, Amanda Arnold of Midland, Derek Griffin of Andrews, and Aaron Davis of San Angelo, and 8 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Home Hospice, Nurses Unlimited, Manor Park Rehab and a special thanks to Brittany Jackson for their care given to Red.
