Roscoe Clifton Haynes

Roscoe Clifton Haynes left this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 16, 2021.

On December 1, 1929, Roscoe Clifton was born to Marlin and Hazel Haynes in Fort Worth, TX. He married his true love Peggy Sparks on June 9, 1950, spending the next 70 years with her.

Roscoe joined the Air Force and became a weatherman stationed at Frobisher Bay near the Artic during the Korean War. Upon completion of his service, he obtained his Masters of Education in Mathematics and taught school at Permian High School in Odessa Texas. After 17 years of teaching his real estate investments allowed him to retire. He was also on the Housing Board in Andrews Texas. His passions were his antique cars and his mountain cabin.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Haynes; their children, Ronny (Laura) Haynes, Pamela Haynes; grandchildren, Kelsea Haynes, Leanna (Braden) Fair, Brooke Haynes, Randen Haynes, Natalie (Daniel) Enabnit, Kristin Borth; great-grandchildren, Graham Enabnit, Harper Enabnit; siblings, Billy Don (Sue) Haynes, Leon (Doris) Haynes.

He was preceded in death by father, Marlin Haynes; mother, Hazel Haynes; siblings, Marshall Haynes, Melba Jay Huddleston, and Jimmy Haynes.

In lieu of flowers the family of Roscoe Haynes has designated the Andrews Senior Center, Andrews, Texas, for memorial contributions donated in his memory.
