Rosa Reyes Valenzuela

Rosa Reyes Valenzuela, 77, of Andrews, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022, in Odessa, Texas.

Family and Friends gathered to celebrate her life at 10:00AM on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, in Andrews, Texas with Father Jose De Dios officiating. Pallbearers will include Ismael Valenzuela Jr.; Albertico Valenzuela; Herman E. Snellenberger; Christopher Snellenberger; Zachery E.H. Montez; and Lupito Fuentes. Interment followed at the Andrews North Cemetery. Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews, Texas with a Rosary Service that followed from 7:00PM - 9:00PM. Arrangements are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home.

Rosa R. Valenzuela was born on Friday, September 1, 1944, in Mercedes, Texas to Indercio Reyes Sr. and Jovita Cano. She graduated from Harrys Beauty College in San Juan, Texas in the 60’s. She then went on to marry her husband Ismael Valenzuela Sr. on September 8, 1979. Rosa loved to entertain, cook, and bake for her family, and she was a very good cook. Anyone to meet her was never considered a stranger. She had a sweetheart and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her Husband Ismael Valenzuela Sr. of Andrews, Texas, Her Son Ismael Valenzuela Jr., and wife Stephanie of Odessa, Texas; 2 Stepsons, and 3 Stepdaughters. Along with 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Indercio Reyes Sr. and Jovita Cano; 6 brothers; 4 sisters; and her grandson Ismael Valenzuela III.
