Richard Carl Warnick, Age 74, of Andrews Texas, passed from this life Thursday, October 13, 2022 in Dallas Texas.
Family and Friends will gather to celebrate his life 2PM, Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews, TX with Eddie Hammock officiating. Visitation was held from 5pm-8pm on Tuesday, October 18th, 2022 at McNett Funeral Home. Viewing was available 10AM-8Pm Wednesday, October 19th, 2022 at McNett Funeral home. Arrangements are under the care of McNett Funeral Home.
Richard was born August 24, 1948 in Kermit, Texas to Joe Ballard Warnick and Annie Mae “Dudensing” Warnick. He married the love of his life Nora Jean “Hudgens” October 24, 1965 in Acuna, Mexico and they have spent 57 amazing years together. Richard was a hardworking family man. His greatest love of his life was his wife Nora, she was always his main focus. He enjoyed fishing, river rafting, and hanging out with his grandchildren. Richard always loved having his grandchildren help decorate the yard for Christmas.
Richard was always very quick witted and loved to cut up and make people laugh, and was brutally honest. He was also really good with his hands and enjoyed tinkering around in his shop. Richard was an amazing father, and loved to spend time with his family. He was a faithful and loving husband, and amazing father, grandfather and friend he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Richard is survived by his wife: Nora Warnick of Andrews, TX; sons: Joe Warnick of Odessa TX; and Dawayne Warnick and wife Lisa of Andrews, TX; Niece Leesa Riley and husband Ricky of Andrews, TX; grandchildren: Gabriel Warnick; Samantha Kendall; Kayla Tarin, Elizabeth Warnick, Cheyenne Ruiz, Presley Warnick, Chrisha Pierce, Devan Warnick, and Jackson Warnick; and great grandchildren: Novalee, Aurora, Isaac, Aubree, Averie, Noah, Lilly, Charlotte, Maddie, Grayson, and Addison.
He is preceded is death by his parents: Joe and Annie Warnick; brother: Curtis Warnick; sister: Jo Ann Warnick; and 2 aunts: Louis Wear; and Evelyn Moseson.
