Randy Wayne Harris

Randy Wayne Harris, 61, of Andrews, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Second Baptist Church in Andrews with Rev. Kevin Covington officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews Old Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 PM — 9:00 PM at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 — 8:00 PM. Arrangements are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home.

Randy was born on October 10, 1959 in Andrews, Texas to Harvey and Elizabeth Payne Harris. He married Tammy Pace on December 3. 1982 in Andrews. Randy graduated from Andrews High School in 1978 and was a member of Second Baptist Church. He had a long career as a truck driver and was the Manager of the Andrews Airport for 18 years. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, camping, going to the mountains, flying solo, playing gin rummy and barbequeing. He loved being around horses and working at the ranch. His family and grandkids were his joy in life and he cherished them all! He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Harris, grandparents, T.A. and Minnie Payne and 011ie and Revis Harris and grandmother-in-law, Faye Hardwick.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Tammy Harris of Andrews, Texas, sons, Laramie Harris and wife Amber of Andrews, Texas, Clayton Harris of Carlsbad, Texas and Tyler Harris and wife Stephanie of Andrews, Texas, siblings, Wesley Harris and wife Kim of Andrews, Texas, Karri Moore and husband Daron of Coahoma, Texas, Kay Greenhaw and husband Mark of Andrews, Texas and Chris Harris and wife Heather of Midland, Texas and 7 grandchildren.
