Maylayne Miller Brown, a long-time resident of Andrews, died April 11, 2020 in Odessa, Texas.

Her family led a celebration of the life and legacy of Maylayne at a beautiful graveside memorial on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at the Andrews Old Cemetery.

Maylayne was born on June 2, 1941 in Cross Plains, Texas to father, Claude Olvis Miller and mother, Hazel Fostine Upton Miller. She married her high school sweetheart of 58 years, Joe Neal Brown on July 17, 1960. Joe went to be with the Lord on October 26, 2018. She met Joe, whom she adored and admired, in 1958, and together they were active community members in local car clubs, enjoying their neighbors and friends. Maylayne loved Cadillacs, Elvis, their dog, Betsy, and lunch with her friends.

She is survived by her son Terry Lee Brown and daughter-in-law Shelly Brown of Odessa, her daughter, Tonya Elenburg and son-in-law Kent Elenburg of Odessa, her grandchildren, Tatem Morris and husband Will Morris of Carlsbad, Carson Brown and wife Kacee Brown of Rowlett, Barrett Brown and wife Sara Brown of Fort Worth, Casey Raines and husband Turner Raines of Rockwall, Tyler Elenburg and wife Caroline Elenburg of Richmond, Tanner Elenburg and wife Shelby Elenburg of Midland, and her great-grandchildren, Ainslee Morris, Jack Morris, Sadie Jo Brown, Weston Lee Brown, Shepherd Kent Alcantar, Ruby Rae Alcantar, Everly Grace Elenburg, Parker Marie Elenburg and baby Raines on the way.
