Margaret Willey, 91, of Andrews passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 in Andrews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in the Andrews West Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Covington officiating. Services are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews. Please celebrate her life by visiting www.mcnettfuneralhome.com.

Margaret was born on November 16, 1927 in Mexia, Texas to Flernoy Biddle and Sally Ina Powell. She was raised in Mexia and Jal, New Mexico and graduated from Jal High School in 1945. She married Merle Ray Willey on October 4, 1945 in Hobbs, New Mexico. They enjoyed arts and crafts, traveling in their RV, going to Nascar races, watching Nascar and football on TV, and she was a fabulous cook. She was a devoted wife and will be remembered for being gentle, kind, never complaining, and very content with her life. They moved to Andrews in 2014 from Brownwood and were members of the Second Baptist Church in Andrews. She was preceded in death her husband on February 8, 2017, her parents, sister, Juanita Weaver, sister in law, Sarah Willey, and nephew, Danny Willey.

Margaret is survived by her brother in law, Bob Willey of Andrews, nieces and nephews, Vivian Willey of Odessa, Randy and Debbie Willey of Midland, Lynn Weaver of Brownwood, and Jennifer Weaver; and great nieces and nephews, Kory and Chana Willey of Odessa, Kyle and Tiffany Willey of Weatherford, Audrey and Sam Whitley of Midland, Stacey and Jason Zuckerman of Waco, and Amy and Josh Harris of Colorado and; long-time friends, Donnell and Bonnie Hitch of Andrews.

Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
