Manuela Benavides, 65, of Andrews, Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, in Andrews, Texas.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Iglesia De Cristo Church in Andrews, Texas. Interment followed in the Andrews North Cemetery in Andrews, Texas. Visitation was held on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 11:00 AM – 8PM at the church.

Manuela was born on December 19, 1956, in Mexico to Antonio Gomez and Sevastiana Avalos. She married Moses Benavides in 1977 in Denver City, Texas. Manuela liked to go to church, and in her spare time she would read the bible. She loved to Garden. She was a kind soul and helped anyone in need. She enjoyed cooking for her family.

She is survived by her husband, Moses Benavides of Andrews, Texas, father, Antonio Gomez of Mexico, son, Noe Benavides of Andrews, Texas, daughter, Clarisa Benavides of Andrews, Texas, brother, Jorge Gomez, of Mexico, Narcisco Gomez, and wife Concepcion of Andrews, Texas, Thomas Gomez of Mexico, Fernando Gomez, and wife Margarita of Andrews, Texas, Jaime Gomez, and wife Trini of Mexico, sisters, Martha Gomez de Urquizu, and husband Manuel of Mexico, Lidia Benavides, and husband, Jimmy of Andrews, Texas, Sandra Gomez de Mireles, and husband, Heron of Mexico, and Ma Del Refugio Gomez of Mexico.
