Jerry Lynn, 63, of Odessa and formerly of Andrews, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 in Odessa.

Family and friends will be having a party in memory of Jerry at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 27, 2018 at The Red, 1508 East State Highway 176, in Andrews. Jerry was born on August 7, 1955 in Winfield, Alabama to Johnny Lynn, Sr. and Mae Nix Lynn. He was raised in Winfield, Alabama and moved to Andrews in 1982. He married Nevada “Cookie” Seifers on April 20, 1989 in Andrews. He had worked for Tucker Construction, Pride Construction, Bruton Construction, Ma-chem Construction, and XTO Energy. He was a member of the Red Man Lodge, Moose Lodge, and Eagles Lodge in Andrews. He enjoyed golfing and was an excellent pool player and could beat anyone. He loved to be around his friends and family telling stories, jokes and drinking beer with them. He loved to wake up Cookie and tell her jokes in the middle of the night. He small cars and oil field equipment collectibles and enjoyed woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Steve Lynn, Ted Lynn, and Johnny Mack Lynn, Jr.; and 1 sister, Brenda Faye Lynn.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Cookie Lynn of Odessa; 5 children, Tim Fellers of Odessa, Jeremy Lynn of Odessa, Josh Lynn of Brilliant, Alabama, Joseph Lynn of Winfield, Alabama, and Angela Joslin of Lubbock; 4 siblings, Pat Gann, Diane Cole, and Pangie Mc-Cluskey, all of Winfield, Alabama, and Herbie Lynn of Llano; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
