James Joseph “Joe” Shryock II

Joe was born in Farmington, New Mexico on October 9, 1955. He made his final touchdown on August 21, 2022. He was 66 years old. Joe was preceded by his son James Joseph”JJ”Shryock III, his nieces Charless Shryock, Bryanna Shryock and Alohna Shryock, his mother Betty Fern, and his brother John Shryock. Joe is survived by his wife, Naomi Shryock; his children, Jacob and Beth Palacios, Virginia and Shawn Morones, Kristen and Clifton Rodriguez, and Nicole and Donald Perciful; his father James “Jim” Shryock Sr.; his grandchildren, Brenden Palacios, Jorden Whicker, Andrew Morones, Austin Rodriguez, Addison Palacios, Cheyanne Rodriguez, Taylor Palacios and Mason Morones; his siblings Daniel Shryock, Shawnie Shryock, Gina Antenucci, Shelly Steinlein, Douglas Tuckett, Elisa Shryock and Elizabeth Shryock; and his nieces and nephews Josh Shryock, Jared Shryock, Danica Weaver, Sean Shryock, David Hunter, Bonnie Shryock, Dylaina Shryock, Beau Shryock, Hailey Antenucci, Sarah Antenucci and John Antenucci.

Joe played football at Andrews High School “Go Mustangs” in Andrews, Texas. His love for football then took him to Eastern New Mexico University.

After college, he found his way to South Lake Tahoe, California where his snow removal and construction world began. While raising his family in the San Joaquin Valley, he spent his life building his grading and excavation business.

His love for his family was his joy, his business was his passion.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 Central Ave., Tracy, California 95376, 209-836-1970.
