Ikey Hooper

Ikey Hooper, 68, of Andrews, Tx. passed away on September 10, 2020 after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. He leaves behind his wife, Brenda Hooper, and their sons Rodney, Sidney, and Richard Hooper.

Ikey was born on August 9th, 1952 in Andrews, Tx. to E.L.(JR) Hooper and Jo Hooper. After finishing high school, he worked in the oil field for 40 plus years. Ikey married Brenda LeMond on April 3rd, 1974. They lived in Andrews for their entire marriage where they raised their three boys.

Ikey is survived by his wife, 3 children, his 3 grandchildren Caden Hooper, Emory Hooper, and Knightly Hooper, his brother Terry Hooper, and his daughter-in-laws LeAnn Hooper, Jennifer Hooper, and Ashley Hooper. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, and his brothers Mike Hooper and Leslie Hooper.

A memorial service will be held at McNett Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St, Andrews, Tx 79714. It will be held on Monday, September 14th at 10 AM.
