Hermelinda V. Carrasco, 81, of Andrews passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in Odessa, Texas.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the personal care of McNett Funeral Homes. A Rosary service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Hermelinda was born on March 18, 1937 in Mulato, Mexico to Bernardino and Anita Valenzuela Vasquez. She married Osvaldo Carrasco on December 20, 1954 in Mexico. She had a green thumb and loved gardening, cooking, crocheting, visiting with friends and family. Hermelinda was a very hard worker, she was sweet, good hearted and humble person and loved singing in the Church Choir. She was preceded in death by her husband Osvaldo Carrasco on January 31, 2014, two sons, Amado and Jose, a sister Adela Hernandez and a brother Ezequiel Valenzuela.

Hermelinda is survived by eight daughters, Maria S. Montoya, Ana Maria Rodriquez and husband Juan, Martha C. Martinez and husband Juan, Betty Lopez and husband Jeronimo of Midland, Texas, Beatrice Bueno and husband Noel, Dora C. Martinez all of Andrews, Texas, Naomi Hernandez and husband Auden of San Angelo, Texas, Pamela Carrasco and husband Rigo of Andrews, Texas, two sons, Rodolfo Carrasco and wife Rosa of Andrews, Texas, Phillip Carrasco and wife Miriam of Midland, Texas; five sisters, Clementina Valenzuela of Kermit, Texas, Flora Lujan of Andrews, Texas, Carolina Vela of Andrews, Texas, Esperanza Valeriano of Odessa, Texas, Mirella Carrasco of Plano, Texas, two brothers, Ismael Valenzuela of Andrews, Texas, Agapito Valenzuela of Andrews, Texas, 27 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
