Facundo Prieto, 68, of Andrews passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020 in Odessa.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate his life at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Pastor Joseph Ogbonna officiating. Interment followed in the Andrews North Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends was on Monday from 11 AM – 5 PM. Masks were required. A Rosary service will be held for family only at 7:00 PM Monday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Facundo was born on November 17, 1951 in Ojinaga, Mexico to Juan Manual and Victoria Martinez Prieto. He married Martha Vasquez in 1973 in Ojinaga, Mexico. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Family and friends knew him as a hardworking man who always made sure his family was taken care of. Facundo was a loving husband to Martha and father to George and Maggie. His time with his family and grandchildren were very special to him. He will be dearly missed.

Facundo is survived by his wife Martha of 47 years, son, George Prieto and wife Amber of Midland, Texas, daughter Maggie Gonzales and husband Adolfo of Andrews, Texas, sister, Olga Prieto of Carrollton, Texas, brother, Marcelino Prieto and wife Zulema of Andrews, Texas, sister, Marisela Garcia and husband Frank of The Colony, Texas, brother, Manual Martinez of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Megan Martin and husband Rowdy, McKaylee Prieto, Makena Gonzales, Malekhi Gonzales, Meialni Gonzales and one great-grandchild, Saylor Martin.
