Elva Jean Frisby

Elva Jean Frisby was born on January 30, 1931 and passed away at her home in Devine, Texas on July 14, 2019.

Jean, as she liked to be called, retired from Permian General Hospital in Andrews, Texas. She started at Permian General Hospital as a nurse and retired as the Director of Nursing. She was married to John Paul Frisby on July 20, 1957. They were married for 55 years when John passed away.

Jean is preceded in death by her late husband, John Paul Frisby, her brothers, Harold Wynn, Floyd Wynn, Glen Wynn, Jack Wynn, Billy Wynn, Warren Wynn and Lawrence Wynn.

Jean had a love for her nine miniature horses. She cared for them daily and enjoyed watching them run and play.

She is survived by her only child (son), Tye Frisby and daughter-in-law, Lola Frisby; by her siblings, Flossie Pound, Clyde Wynn, Mary Williams, Jim Wynn and C J Wynn.

She is also survived by eight grandchildren and their spouses: Rosalyn and John Beamish, Beth and Sheldon Ford, Kyle Carlisle, Courtney Lamb, Tyler Frisby, Kimberly and David Gomez, Heather and Micheal Fisher and James Stephens; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Dustin, and Katy Beamish, Aiden Herron, Gerran and Gilly Ford, Hunter Bond, Maverick Rodrigues, Scarlett, Jordan, and Owen Gomez, Skyler, Sophia and Jaxson Stephens and Juniper Fisher.

Memorial Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday,August 2, 2019 at Alta Vista Funeral Chapel in Natalia, Texas.
