Donna Kay Salmon, 67, of Andrews passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 in Midland.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brant O’Connor officiating. Interment followed in the Andrews West Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 2 – 4 PM at McNett Funeral Home. Donna was born on July 27, 1951 in Odessa, Texas to Ellis and Evelyn Rutherford Clement. Donna grew up in Odessa and Andrews, and she graduated from Andrews High School in 1969. Donna married Rusty Salmon on October 26, 1998 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Donna loved cooking for family and friends, and they owned and operated R & D’S Restaurant in Andrews from 2001 to 2009. Her passion was her horses and other animals; which she enjoyed almost more than anything. She also enjoyed crocheting and being around her kids and grandkids. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, father, Ellis Clement on April 7, 1985, her mother, Evelyn Clement on May 12, 2008, and her grandmother, Nettie Mae Clement in 2007.

Donna is survived by her husband, Rusty Salmon of Andrews, Texas, sons, Chris McQuatters and wife, Kara, of Odessa, Texas, Chris Harden and wife Jennifer of McCallister, Oklahoma, daughters, Lisa Asplund and husband, Dave, of Roanoke, Texas, Tina Slyter and husband, Jake, of Lewiston, Idaho, Katie Salmon of Walla Walla, Washington, grandchildren, Hannah Asplund, Cody Asplund, Maggie McQuatters, Chandler Slyter, Joely Slyter, Sammie Slyter, Mccoy Slyter, Haylee Harden, Logan Harden, Kelsie Harden, Korbin Salmon, Kale Nick and Kyler Nick.
