Andrea G. Figueroa

Andrea G. Figueroa, 72, of Andrews, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 24, 2020.

Burial services will be on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Andrews County Cemetery-North Addition for the immediate family only.

Andrea was born on May 3, 1942 in Ejido Escobillas Muncipio Manuel Benavides, Chihuahua, Mexico to Inez Granados and Manuela Sanchez Granados. She married Higinio R. Figueroa on September 15, 1988 and were married for 31 years. Andrea enjoyed cooking for her family making sure they never went hungry. She also loved working in her garden taking care of her flowers and rose bushes. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Andrea is survived by her children, Raul Valenzuela (JoAnn), Diana Gonzalez (Luis), Joe Figueroa, Hector Figueroa, Sandra Gonzales, Norima Lopez (Alex), Luis Rene Figueroa (Ida) of Andrews, Elizabeth Lozano (Roy) and Guadalupe Figueroa of Balmorhea, daughter-in-law Lupe Figueroa of Andrews. She had 30 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Her brothers, Auden Granados (Rosa) of Odessa, Tx and Cruz Granados (Niky) from Ojinaga, Chihuahua.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Inez and Manuela Granados, sisters, Alicia Granados and Bahola Valenzuela, son, Sergio Figueroa and son-in-law Marcos Gonzales.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in honor of our loved one.
