Jerry Lewis Fox, 64, of Andrews passed away Sunday, Sept. 16, at his home in Andrews.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 19, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at McNett Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Stinnett, Texas, under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. Sam Kaufman and James Horne will officiate.
Jerry was born Dec. 27, 1947, in Natalia, Texas, to Gerald and Beatrice Fox. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1970. He married Sue Smith on Aug. 11, 1967, in Midland. They moved to Andrews in 1978 from Monahans.
Jerry was raised in The Church of God, where his father pastored. He worked as an electrician for Mobil Pipeline. He loved golfing, fishing, hunting and working in his shop. He loved to fly planes and at one time owned an airplane. He loved to hang out with his granddaughter Bree and his little buddy Pee Wee, his rescue dog.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Fox of Andrews; daughters, Sharry Sloan and husband Rick of Camden, Arkansas and Stacey Cruz of Odessa; sister Helen Ruth Coffman of Cabot, Arkansas; grandchildren Brooke, Bree Taylor Fox, Zachary Dean and Tyler; and one great-grandchild on the way.
