Paulita Martinez Carrasco
Paulita Martinez Carrasco, age 65, of Andrews Texas, passed from this life Wednesday, September 27, 2023, in her home surrounded by her family.
Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life at 2:00PM, Monday, October 2, 2023, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews, TX., with Father Joseph Ogbonna officiating. Visitation was held Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 5:00PM8:00PM at McNett Funeral Home and Sunday, October 1, 2023, from 1:00PM-7:00PM, with a Rosary that followed from 7:00PM9:00PM. Arrangements were under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home.
Paula was born April 3, 1958, in Sanderson Texas to Nolberto Martinez and Juanita “Perez” Martinez. She married the love of her life Jesus Manuel Carrasco August 24, 1980, in Andrews Texas and spent 42 amazing years with him until his passing in February of 2022. Paula was a wonderful and loving mother who adored her children. Family was the most important part of her life. She enjoyed spending time and talking with her siblings and had a very special place in her heart for her mother Juanita and cherished her father deeply and her many dreams of him.
She also loved her 2 pups, Dewy and Hewy, you could always catch her sitting on the couch watching the ID channel with them. Paula loved to cook, although she did not know how to cook for only one. Paula enjoyed road trips to California with her husband and taking rides on the motorcycle. She also loved to dance and color. Paula was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, and friend she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her mother: Juanita Martinez of Andrews, TX; sons: Jesus Carrasco of Anahiem, CA and John Paul Carrasco of Odessa, TX; daughters: Jesika Carrasco of Andrews, TX; and Amanda Carrasco of Andrews, TX; brother: Sonny Martinez and wife Yolanda of Andrews, TX; sisters: Terry De La Cruz of Midland, TX; and Rachel Trevino of Midland, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Paula is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Carrasco; and father, Nolberto Martinez.
