Andrews High School head coach Ralph Mason is banking on his team being ready.
Despite an 0-2 start, Levelland is not a bad football team at all. Don’t let their record fool you.
Levelland led Muleshoe by 21 points in the first game of the season before the Mules staged a huge rally. Last week Levelland led Shallowater late in the game before a last minute touchdown handed them another tough defeat.
“They are a talented group that is playing hard and probably should be 2 and 0 right now,” said Mason. “I’m telling you they are a very good football team. We are going to have to be ready and focused.”
As a team, the Lobos return 16 starters from a year ago, including eight on each side of the ball.
