    A man who walked Main St. with a shotgun strapped to his back during a lunch hour in January was acquitted of a disorderly conduct charge Wednesday by a county court jury.

    The Andrews County Commissioners Court voted Monday to spend $400,000 in monies received from Waste Control Specialists to help combat one of the unfortunate side effects of progress: increased wear and tear on the local ambulance fleet, which has seen more use in recent years as population increases have led to a higher volume of emergency calls.
