The Andrews City Council continued a trend Thursday night of growing the city by way of voluntary annexation, initiating annexation proceedings on three separate pieces of property—including one parcel that’s set to become the future home of a well-known retailer.
Resolution 647, unanimously approved by the council, paves the way for a Tractor Supply outlet to locate in Andrews, continuing the surge in commercial growth the city has seen over the past couple of years.
City Manager Glen Hackler described Tractor Supply as another good fit for the expanding Andrews market.
